Jose Rivera, QCP recipients of inaugural CQCC Awards

Donna Loveland of Arc of Onondaga, Queens Centers for Progress (represented by Executive Director Terri Ross), and Jose Rivera of CP Nassau, were recognized with the inaugural CQCC Awards at the Compliance and Quality Connections Conference on April 29. Their leadership and innovation are setting new standards in quality and compliance for disability service providers across the state.

Queens Center for Progress and CP Nassau’s Jose Rivera were among those honored at the Compliance and Quality Connections Conference on April 29. The conference, hosted by CP State and The Arc New York, is the premier conference for providers supporting people with disabilities.

Congratulations to Jose Rivera, Corporate Compliance Officer for the Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County, Inc., on receiving the inaugural Quality Assurance and Improvement Award from The Arc New York and CP State. This new honor highlights the essential role quality professionals play in strengthening services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Jose was selected from a competitive pool of nominees statewide by the Quality and Compliance Connections Conference Planning Team for his exceptional commitment to continuous improvement and service excellence.

Queens Centers for Progress has been honored with the first-ever Impact Award from The Arc New York and CP State. This new award recognizes a not-for-profit organization that has made a significant positive impact on quality and compliance—both within its own operations and by sharing best practices across the field. Selected by the Quality and Compliance Connections Conference Planning Team, Queens Centers for Progress sets a high standard for innovation and collaboration in advancing supports for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

In addition to Rivera and QCP,  Arc of Onondaga Chief Compliance & Quality Officer Donna Loveland was honored with the Excellence in Compliance Award.
