04 Jan Join CP State for Regional Albany Lobby Weeks

Each region will come to Albany to lobby during a designated week between early February and late March so that I/DD advocates have a continuous Albany presence.

2024 Tentative Dates:

• January 16, 2024 – Executive Budget Release
• Week of 2/5 – Capital Region
• Week of 2/12 – NYDA STATEWIDE RALLY IN ALBANY – all agencies that attend encouraged to meet with their Senate/Assembly members while in Albany

CP State /DDAWNY/IAC Leadership Meetings

• Week of 2/26 – Hudson Valley – Including Westchester and Rockland
• Week of 3/4 – Central NY/North Country/New York City
• Week of 3/11 – Western NY/ Finger Lakes
• Week of 3/18 – Long Island

CP State, IAC & DDAWNY will include DOH & SED priorities in these regional lobby weeks and advocacy including:

• DOH
• Early Intervention 11% rate increase
• Article 28 DT&C– 30% clinic rate increase
• SED
• Growth
• 35/65 cost screens
• Interim Plus Rates
