12 Feb Advocacy Alert! Ask Your Democratic Legislators to Send a letter of support by Feb. 15!

In order to ensure that the 8.5% COLA and $4,000 wage enhancement are included in the Senate and Assembly Democrat’s one-House budget proposals, PLEASE call & request that your Democratic Senator and Assembly Member send a letter to their leadership in support of our OPWDD funding priorities.
Sample letters are attached and the Senate letter is also here and the Assembly letter is also here.
The deadline for budget requests is soon and we ask that you make these requests ASAP and no later than Wednesday, February 15th!
If the 8.5% COLA and $4,000 wage enhancement are not in BOTH the Senate and Assembly One-House bills, we have little chance of getting them in the final budget.
