Richard D. Landau, Partner, Jackson Lewis

Richard D. Landau is a Principal in the White Plains and Albany, New York, offices of Jackson Lewis P.C. He has represented employers in all aspects of labor and employment law and has extensive experience providing employers with strategic advice relating to union organizing and in proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board. He has negotiated hundreds of collective bargaining agreements in dozens of industries including complex contracts covering over 1,500 employees and handled over 100 arbitrations running the full gamut of labor contract issues.

For almost five years, Mr. Landau wrote a weekly column entitled “The Next Day At The Office” addressing, in a humorous way, the legal workplace issues as portrayed in the television show The Office.  Mr. Landau is a movie buff and avid sports fan whose ideal day is four tickets on the sunny side of Yankee Stadium with his wife, Hillary, son, Harrison, and daughter, Charlotte, along for the game.
