Favorite part of the job: My favorite part is building meaningful relationships and empowering the people I support to realize their potential . I also find learning from their unique perspectives and resilience inspiring, which constantly reminds me of the importance of patience, empathy, and advocating for inclusion. Working alongside their family and staff allows for a holistic approach creating a sense of unity and collaboration to provide the best support empowering them to thrive in all aspects of life.

Best experience on the job: One of the most meaningful days in my current role was visiting all three locations of the Saturday Respite program. It was a unique opportunity to immerse myself in the environment, meeting the individuals, their families and the dedicated staff who support them. This experience allowed me to understand the program and its impact better. From the beginning, I felt a strong sense of connection and purpose, seeing firsthand how the program positively influences the lives of everyone involved.
