Hello
Sharalyn Stott
Happiness House
Position
Director of Evaluation Services
About Me
Favorite Movie: Julie & Julia
Genre: Biographical and inspirational
Bingewatching Snack: Homemade popcorn with M&Ms!
Favorite part of the job: Collaborating with other specialists to complete evaluations for children and providing valuable information for parents. We are often working with families who are seeking their first evaluation for their child, and therefore, the evaluation teams and I are often at the forefront of this new journey for families. Working as a team to meet the needs of the children is what it's all about!
Best experience on the job: Several months ago, a small eval team including myself and two clinicians, had the opportunity to work with a preschooler and his mother to complete an autism evaluation. The child had limited interactions with us as the evaluators; however, it was so joyous to see the loving interactions that he had with his mother. This mother noted the daily struggles in supporting her young child with developmental delays, but observing the support this mother provided her child was heartwarming!
