About Me
Favorite Movie: St. Elmo's Fire / Forest Gump / Terms of Endearment
Genre: Romantic comedies are probably my favorite but I enjoy Action / Adventure, Drama, Mystery and Disney movies too.
Favorite Actor: Brad Pitt
Favorite Actress: Sandra Bullock
Favorite Director: Probably John Hughes - all those rom/com 80's films!
Bingewatching Snack: Kettle Corn
Biopic would star: Sandra Bullock
Favorite part of the job: My favorite part of my job is the time I spend each morning assisting with unloading buses and vans as people arrive for Day Hab. It is just so wonderful to see everyone and to help ensure that each person gets to start their program day with a warm, enthusiastic greeting and a big smile. I appreciate the opportunity to connect with people and hear about their night and how they're doing that day. Even on the days when the weather is bad, these morning interactions are always a ray of sunshine.
Best experience on the job: I've worked at Able2 for almost 36 years so this is a hard one to answer. There have been many great days/experiences. One of my favorites was probably the inaugural Sports Day event that we held at Day Hab. There was an opening parade, complete with banners and the day was full of fun competition including indoor and outdoor activities. It was the culmination of months of work by lots of people. The weather was perfect. We had lots of community volunteers. Everyone (including me) had a blast.
