Favorite part of the job: My favorite part of my job is broken down into layers. 1. Advocating for my participants and making sure they receive fair and equal treatment at work. 2. Watching my participants achieve longevity in their positions. 3. Gaining their independence while earning money. 4. Seeing a boost in their self esteem and confidence. 5. Being a consistent support they can count on because they have so many people who have let them down.

Best experience on the job:  My best experience will have to be being the first staff to work the ETP Program in Yonkers. That allowed participants who had no work experience to become employed at the Doubletree Hotel in Tarrytown for many years. I assisted them with various tasks such as: washing dishes, mopping floors, employee lunch prep, stocking items in the storage rooms, minor food prep for groups and setting up rooms for parties, conferences, etc. It felt good seeing them go from inexperienced to experienced workers
