Favorite part of the job: What I enjoy most about my job is building relationships with both the staff and the individuals we serve in our program.

Best experience on the job: It's hard to choose a single favorite day/experience from my 24 years in this field because I truly love my work. I find joy in teaching, helping staff improve their skills, and making a difference in the lives of individuals we support, helping them to develop goals so they can grow into the best versions of themselves. Working in this program has been incredibly rewarding and a lot of fun too! Our staff are always coming up with creative activities, parties, and events that everyone enjoys.

Movie Moment: I was once caught in the middle of the Hudson River in a metal canoe during a lightning storm. The storm hit suddenly, and my friend and I were terrified. We had to paddle frantically to make it ashore, but thankfully no one was hurt or electrocuted!
