Favorite part of the job: I love interacting with all the individuals at work and helping them find happiness in their day. I always try to plan activities that I know they will enjoy and will allow them to be creative. Some of the lessons are learning Spanish and history, as well Art. My favorite activity with them is the annual Talent show. They are always very creative and truly enjoy getting to perform with other individuals in the program. Seeing them happy brightens up my day.

Best experience on the job: My favorite experience is the annual holiday party/dance we throw for the individuals. There is a lot of anticipation for it every year and we try to come up with interesting themes to keep it fresh. It’s a great time for the individuals to come together and just have fun.
