07 Jul DQI to Release First Annual Report During July 9 Webex

Will include survey and incident data from the 2023/2024 cycle

In July 2025, OPWDD’s Division of Quality Improvement (DQI) will release its first Annual Report, summarizing survey and incident data from the 2023–2024 cycle.

Each provider will also receive an Agency Profile Compliance Report, comparing its compliance metrics to those of similar-sized agencies. To support providers in understanding and using these reports as quality improvement tools, DQI will host an informational webinar on July 9.

The session is part of DQI’s ongoing effort to improve communication and share updates, trends, and best practices in the field.

The July webinar will also include:

• Emergency Preparedness Planning
• An overview of new regulatory requirements for emergency management planning in certified settings, including guidance on developing all-hazard Emergency Management Plans (EMP/EPP) tailored to each site.
• Justice Center Systemic Review
• A review of the Justice Center’s findings on substantiated sexual abuse and professional boundary violations, including recommendations and OPWDD’s response actions.

If time permits, there will be a Q&A segment at the end of the session.
